Trei had been anxious all of the last evening.  There had been no word with regard to her petition to perform the Right of Ascension, and she was concerned that it would be denied.  At this point, it would be devastating to the young woman who appeared to be searching for an identity to cling to.  T'Mur had been trying to give her some kind of solace but her words were falling on ears that were only looking to hear one thing.

T'Mur looked up to see Galk enter and he made his way over to them.

"Lieutenant Commander, Lieutenant Trei." He rumbled.

T'Mur nodded at the Klingon, "Mr. Galk.  You look as though you have something to say."

"I understand that the council is in session and I have urgent business with them that involves the Lieutenant," Galk said looking at Trei. "We can assist one another, me as her advocate and her as my cha'dich."

T'Mur raised an eyebrow of interest, "Indeed?  I am uncertain this is the right time for such an action."

When Galk looked at her, they conveyed his determination, which she had been witness to before.  "This must be done and it can not wait. This is my home and these are my people. I will do this with or without permission."

The Vulcan's eyebrows furrowed at the unveiled threat.  However, she knew Galk well and knew two things.  One, if he said it, he meant it, and two, he would never had made such a statement without good reason.

Finally, she nodded, "I understand.  I will urge the captain to accept your petition.  We should be called back into the Main Hall soon.  You will accompany us then. Wait here."  T'Mur moved off towards Captain Sekal.
