Mission: For Honor

Day: 4

Stardate: 2446.04.28

(Qo’nos - In shadows- ?- 1540)

They watched as the Federation animals fell through the floors, taking them out of line from their hive. But then something unexpected happened. One of them moved away from the rest. The clicks and chirps grew momentarily stronger, then turned back into a whisper.

The whisper followed the single human as it made its way through the catacombs of the sewer system. It seemed to be uncertain of where it was going but it was most assuredly heading towards the Klingon compound again. There was an unhappy generation of radiated communication that slightly warmed the tunnel.

Their natural dexterity made it an easy job to follow, and close the distance. The message had been clear. It cannot return to their hive. There was too much uncertainty of what they knew. Did they know enough to draw a conclusion.

The success of the plan hinges on its secrecy. Not even the Klingons we’re certain of what the desired outcomes were. However their behavior was much easier to manipulate than the unpredictable humans. It was good planning that they had an ally among them. That one, at least, saw the logical conclusions that had been laid before them.

Suddenly they could hear the voice of the one they’d been following. They could not make out what the sounds meant, but they were not happy sounds. The communications block they activated blocked their own translation devices. They knew some of the flesh bags had the capacity for distance communication. It didn’t seem like she was making contact. This meant they would need to act soon.
