“Try the in-program controls,” Alex said, hopingthat maybe Vermyx could get them access to the FTL-drive and jump them out of here.

Before he could answer, the two remaining bogiesrequired his attention. They were firing their projectile weapons at the Raptor,forcing Alex to bob and weave to keep from being hit. Then one of the enemy shipsvanished in a burst of light. 
“Oh, great one of them ran home for the rest of thegang.”

On the bright side, for now, it was a one-on-one fight.~Time to get creative.~ Then he remembered the gas giant that they had nearlycollided with upon their arrival. ~Okay, girl, time to earn that paycheck.~ Hetook the Raptor into the atmosphere and the Cylon followed.

The winds were insane and the craft struggled tokeep going. But so did the Cylon. ~There goes the DRADIS resolution.~ But it hecouldn’t see the Cylon, then the Cylon couldn’t see them. He pulled the shipout of the atmosphere. The last bogie was nowhere to be seen. 

“I think we lost him. What are our chances ofgetting out of here before his friends show up ?”
