"Debrief you? Why would SFI debriefyou?  That would be the job of Security.  What would you need to bedebriefed about?"

“Well, I’ve been to places like Farius Prime, Ferengispace and the Nyberrite Alliance,” Alex said.

~And I’ve met people and seen things in thoseplaces.~ Things that Starfleet Intelligence might want to know. 

For example, he had encountered a pirate shipcalled the Black Heart. According to the databases that Alex could access, theship had been destroyed by the Gorn several years ago. But Alex knew where to findlogs that proved the vessel was still active at least six months after it wassupposedly blown up. 

"And why would your information be incorrect. They get that informationfrom you.  Unless you intentionally mislead them?"

“A, I’m not the kind to mislead. And B, they neverasked. Neither Security or HR ever contacted me. And the list reads likesomebody used a search engine to put it together.”
