ILLUMINARRPG: (1-1800) CSec/Tac - Lt. Commander T’Mur

(USS Illuminar - Deck 2 - Personal Quarters - CSec/Tac - Lt. Commander T’Mur - 1800)


T’Mur entered their quarters carrying a package.  She and Sienna had not spent as much time together, intimately, in recent days, and she found herself missing it.  She had spent time researching Betazoid marital customs before they had arrived at Vulcan.  There had been several items that she had noted that they had circumnavigated, and that they simply did not speak of.  They had also avoided speaking of Vulcan rituals as well.


However, today was not the time for those.  This was a time to rectify one of the Betazoid traditions.  She sent a wam feeling to her mate as she noted her back towards her, and Sienna faced the view screen. She saw that Sienna was speaking to members of her family.  The screen went blank before she was able to approach to see who she was speaking to.


Sienna’s telepathic screens had been growning stronger every day, and she was now able to block certain things from T’Mur that the Vulcan would only know if she forced the issues.  Sienna had told her that certain… secrets were necessary at certain times.  Clearly she wanted this to be one of those secrets.


When Sienna turned around she smiled.  T’Mur returned the gesture, get more comfortable showing emotions in their private settings.


“Beloved,” she said with a nod.  Sienna stood up and came over to her, planting a kiss on her lips.  When they separated she moved her head back slightly.  “We need to talk.”

T’Mur led her mate to the sofa and sat her down.  She remained standing, looking very serious.  Finally she spoke, “Sienna, we have neglected many of our cultural rituals during the course of our relationship.  I understand that circumstances have gotten in the way of some of them, however, now we have time, I would like to rectify that.”

“As I understand it,” T’Mur continued, “it is customary for the bride to receive a “bonding gift” before the impending nuptials.  I have,” she held out the wrapped gift for Sienna.

When the gift had been unwrapped she could feel Sienna’s confusion at the box.  “Allow me,” she said as she place the box on the floor and stepped on the activation plate.  Suddenly the full sized holographic keyboard sprouted from it.  T’Mur stood back and motioned for Sienna to try it out.
