ILLUMINARRPG: (1-1126) Pilot- Lieutenant Arthur ‘Snoopy’ Corday

(USS Illuminar - Deck 5 – Corridor -  Pilot-  Lieutenant Arthur ‘Snoopy’ Corday– 1131)



Corday and Dyson were about to get into the turb olift when their comm badges beeped.



=^=Montero. Corday and Dyson to my office for a debrief. =^=



Arthur looked at Alex, “Well that doesn’t sound good.  Let’s go.  We don’t want her to be mad that we kept her waiting.”



He tapped his badge, “Corday and Dyson are en route.”



They stepped into the turbolift, and the door closed behind them.

They the FSXO’s office and noted that Montero was not there yet.  There were three chairs set up in a line in front of Grey Wolf’s desk.



“XO,’ Corday said with a nod.



"Take a seat," Tempest said, looking at them with cold eyes. "Have your reports been finalized and if not why not?"



"Sorry Lieutenant," Montero said, "Waiting for some information from the engineering team."



Corday sat down, “No, ma’am.  They have not.  Dyson and I had some business to take care of and have not had time.  And I wanted to ensure that since this was his first time that he knew how to file the report correctly.”  He didn’t want Dyson’s transgression of protocol cause a rift between him and the XO, so it was just easier that he took the fall.

Grey Wolf asked for their explanations of what had occurred, or as she put it, what went wrong.  Montero was the first to give his report.



"The Mk III performed as expected,” Monteros said. “Seems the Mako maintenance records need to be looked in, but there was no sign of issues when Snoopy took the shot.  I am sure the computer geeks will review Mandy's records to see if we missed something, but the exercise was run by the book."



“I concur,” Corday added.  “I’ve downloaded the data from Lucy, but I know what I saw.  When I took the shot it should not have caused any actual damage to the Mako.  There must have been some kind of flaw in its shield systems.  I’m just thankful we were able to pick up Duece before he was killed.”
