Pex laughed. It was not an unpleasant sound.  He seemed to laugh with his whole body.


"We might have to ask someone who actually grew up on Earth.  I think asking a table full of nonhumans about Earth food is terribly funny."


T’Mur raised an eyebrow with a contemplative look on her face. “I suppose that it would somewhat oxymoronic that we would know more about Earth food than, but it is not completely unprecedented. I know of many chefs who readily create Earth food. While I also know humans, who have never lived on Earth,  that are make wonderful Earth dishes.  Are you suggesting knowledge of Earth food is genetic?  I would have thought it be more environmental.”
