(Vulcan - Capital City - Nivar Institute - ACEO Ensign Tegian Pex - 1237)




Tegian stood patiently by T'shalaith's bed as she continued to recover from
whatever had occurred at the temple.  Tegian was sure that her father was
gone from her mind, but how long it would take her to recover and what she
needed to do so had yet to be stated by anyone.  Honestly, he was glad to
be out of the heat and the thin air.


She startled him out of his own musings with a greeting.  He smiled down at
her.  "How are you feeling, T'shalaith?"

T'shaliath, sounding a lot like herself, then cryptically described how she
had kept herself intact and how she was recovering.  But, asking him who
she was before her father inhabited her mind wasn't something Tegian could
answer.  He hadn't known her before then.  He took one of her hands in
between his and gently caressed it.


"I can't tell you what you were like before your father's Katra took up
residence, T'shalaith.  But, I will be happy to explore that with you, if
you so wish.  But, if you need time alone, I will understand."
