(Vulcan - Mount Seleya- Temple-  CSRD Lieutenant T'shalaith - 1227)



"Peace and long life to thee, thou art free once again. Thy father has
taken his honored place. Some day in the future perhaps you may make the
journey here again. But until that day comes.  Peace and long life to thee."



T'shalaith gave a nod as the exhaustion of the experience hit her.  She
returned the gesture with her hands but was unable to find the words to
speak.



"Transporter control Illuminar party requests transport to the Nivar
Institute Neurological wing."

"On your mark, energize."



They vanished into the light of the transporters.

T'shalaith lay in a bed, her mind heavy with everything that had happened.
She had begun the work to repair her mind and without her father’s presence
in it, it was moving quicker than she had originally expected.  She found
the face of Tegian Pex at her bedside.  She blinked a few times as her mind
sluggishly connected who he was and what he was to her.



“I…am glad to see you again, Tegian Pex.”

She pursed her lips, “My mind…the inner sanctums of me were purged.
I…secured my Katra inside my escape room…locked away from him.  I
am…rebuilding the connections in my brain as we speak.  It…will take some
time for me to be…who I am again.”  She looked at him carefully, “I suppose
that is the question I must ask myself…and ask you.”  She thought on it
further for a moment, “What was T'shalaith like before her father escaped
into the corners of her mind?”
