(USS Illuminar- Deck 2- Leeza Pel's Quarters- SFI Michael Weston - 1400)


Michael had tracked Leeza's movements through the ship.  He knew that they needed to talk, but he was also equally certain she wasn't going to want to talk to him.  Still, driven on by Dieter's words he decided that he needed to offer a bridge between them, even if she chose not to cross it.  He wanted her to know that he still cared about her even if she was unhappy with him now.  He was not going to leave her.


He had stood outside her quarters practicing that speech for the last ten minutes.  Now he was wondering why he was still saying it to himself rather than to her.  Here was a man who had faced hundreds of high-powered adversaries and held his own.  He held multiple black belts and had been on life-threatening missions.  Now he was afraid to face a three-year-old girl.


He took a deep breath and stepped up to the door, which had been programmed to open at his bio signs.  He stepped into the room and looked at P'Rah, who stood and faced him.


"Mr. P'Rah," Michael said with a nod.


(reply P'Rah)


"I don't want to get into this with you just now," Michael said.  He wasn't up to P'Rah's retribution.  "I'm here to talk to her."  He indicated to Leeza.


(reply P'Rah)


"Leeza," Michael said, "I need to talk with you."


(reply Leeza, P'Rah)
