NRPG: The Edmund Fitzgerald class - a warp capable transport - https://www.stf-wiki.com/index.php?title=Edmund_Fitzgerald_Class
Mission: An Ending and a Beginning
Day: 8
Stardate: 2446.03.22

He looked around the room one more time, memorizing the details of the space. He had spend his morning hours meditating with Master Jekkos, before taking his leave to clear his mind. Find his center and rededicate himself to his purpose.
Hefting his bag on his shoulder, he left the room and walked to the station. The simple tunic and pants covered with a hooded white robe, he blended in at first glance. The robe was adorned with silver stitching on either side of the robe. The Vulcan script read Keethera.
He waited patiently in the departure hall for the transport that would take him back to ShiKahr, the capital of Vulcan, where he expected he could find a ride to take him back to Earth to meet up with the Illuminar.
The transport arrived, and he followed the others in boarding it. Finding his seat, he closed his eyes and began to try to relax, letting his mind wander.

After checking in with Star Fleet, he booked passage on a ship that should get him to Earth in time. Since this would be the first time in years he had been on Earth, he felt it only right he bring home some trinkets of his journeys to his family.
Wandering into the market district, he allowed himself time to wander and browse. People kept a respectful distance from the short, powerful man. He stopped in front of a shop that intrigued him. Entering the place, he tried to place the smell. It was old. Wood, metal and oil.
He walked slowly around the room. While he could admire an antique, especially one that was well made, not replicated, fit for purpose. He turned to see a collection of antique weapons. Vulcan, Romulan, Klingon, yes, even some from Earth. While his combat training focused on unarmed combat, he did enjoy using his retractable baton. He reached out and touched a pair of Tonfa, the wood had seen many a combat.
“Used by the master Gakuto Oshiro,” he said.
“Indeed,” a deep voice said, “you are well informed. And clearly you have an appreciation of fine weaponry.”
Devers turned around to face the speaker. He was a tall and lanky looking Vulcan, as most were, but his eyes were green, which was a unique feature.
“Are you interested in purchasing an item, or are you here to… browse, as most are,” he said.
“I had not expected to find such an honored weapon on Vulcan,” Devers replied. “What are you asking for them?”
Jopek raised an eyebrow, “I have spent a lifetime acquiring the rare and unique throught the quadrant. But my most prized weapon collection was actually put together by my daughter. She had a gift finding and acquiring weapons. She is now a chief of security on a Starfleet vessel.”
Devers nodded. “You must be proud of her. Come to think of it, my boss is also a Vulcan,” he said, “But don’t know her to well, I let my buddy deal with the officers, I like training the new recruits, at least in unarmed combat. What ship is your daughter on?”
“She is on the Illuminar,” Jopek replied. “Are you familiar with the ship. It was in orbit several days ago.”
Devers looked surprised, “Indeed Sir, that is my ship. Your daughter is Commander T’Mur? She is getting married, as I recall, to the first officer. In a few days hence. I have booked passage aboard The Arthur M. Anderson, an Edmund Fitzgerald class transports that leaves tonight. It should get to Earth before the wedding.”
Jopek raised an eyebrow, ”Indeed she is. I will be closing my shop to travel for the wedding as well. I have arranged passage on the Anderson as well. Myself and my… companion. It is gratifying that my daughter associates with those with such discerning tastes. Please, allow me to present you with the Tonfa as a gift.”
Devers held one of the Tonfa in his hand, feeling the weight, the history it represented. “Sir, that is a great honor.” Devers bowed low, in respect. “You are most generous to someone you have just met. Thank you.” He paused.
“I hope that we may have time on the journey to talk. I would welcome a fresh perspective on something that Master Jekos of the Vulcan Institute of Defensive Arts said to me,” Devers said.
“I would be gratified to provide you with any perspective that I can,” Jopek said. “But truly, T’Mur spent more time at the institute than I. But whatever I can shed light on I will.”
He paused for a moment then said, “Perhaps you can help me as well, so that I might know and understand this Sienna Williams-Verin better.”
Devers nodded, “I will do my best Sir,” he said.
