(USS Illuminar - Deck 1 - Bridge - COps/3rdO Lieutenant Dieter Gregory - 
1405)

Gregory was watching the sensors when he experienced an odd feeling. 
Like his insides had started to freefall and then stopped.  He heard a 
thud, and looked to see Commander Verin face first on the deck.

As she stood up, he noticed blood running down her face.  As Ensign 
Tavay called for medical assistance, he ran a quick status check. "Ma'am 
all decks report green.  We have some minor injuries from the blip that 
just happened, much like your nose, but we are fine."

"Ma'am, sensor reading that the Klingon ship is adrift on minimal 
power." Gregory called out.  "Message incoming from the Hades, Admiral 
Saleke."  Pushing a button, the Admiral's voice filled the bridge.

=^= Illuminar this is Admiral Saleke. We will assist you with clearing 
out the pirates here then return to the edge of the system. The Klingon 
vessel is drifting on minimal power. You have permission to board her, 
the Hades will protect you while you do so. =^=

Gregory replied, "Message received Hades.  We will begin boarding 
activity forthwith."

Next he tapped his comm badge, "Gregory to Chief Lee.  We have been 
given permission by the Admiral to begin boarding the Klingon vessel. It 
is disabled and drifting with minimal power.  I am sending the 
schematics and overlay of lifesigns to you now.  Secure the ship and the 
crew."

Turning his chair around, "Lieutenant Trei, please report to Security. 
Your skills may be quite valuable on this boarding mission."

Looking at his screens, he noticed that the new science team was trying 
to reach Commander Verin.  Since she was busy with Dr. Solice, he 
rerouted the message.  =^= Penn to bridge, we have a little trick we'd 
like to show you. =^=

"This is Lieutenant Gregory.  Please state the nature of your trick."
