ILLUMINARRPG: (9-1401)- CO - Captain Sekal

NRPG: The timeline has gotten cluttered so I'm moving this out a bit.
RPG:

Mission:  Death in the Shadows
Day: 9
Stardate 2446.02.09

(Sigma Draconis VI - Controllers Room - CO - Captain Sekal - 1401)

"I do not know what you mean.  We are a peaceful people.  We banished war
thousands of years ago when the ice took over our land.  We have no
weapons, nor the desire for them. It is true there are people from other
planets on the surface of our planet, but they do not bother us, but
provide us with minerals that we need to keep the Controller and our planet
running.  All they have asked is to be allowed to explore the surface.
They promised to make us a trading power so that we would have what we need
and not be forced to abandon this place and try to make our way to the
place of green and warmth.  We would lose many of us on that trek."

"Understood." Sekal spoke. "Since your ill-fated attempt to take a
StarFleet officer forcibly as your controller there has been no record of
aggressive action on your part. A question. Would your Controller be aware
of technology from your planet's past? I would assume that the complete
archives of your civilization should be available."

(Reply: Controller spokeswoman)

He nodded his head and turned to the cadet. "Mr. Surkal you were on the
team that studied the missile retrieved from the marauder, are those
schematics and readings in your padd?"

(Reply: Surkal)

"Excellent. Bring up the data then hand the padd to the Morg leader so that
he may pass it to the Controller's spokeswoman please."

(Reply: Surkal)

He returned his attention to the female as his order was being carried out.
"I understand you desire evidence to prove my case therefore I am providing
it. This weapon was apparently taken from an old storehouse of weaponry on
your planet, adapted and is being used to prey on shipping. If I am correct
then the peaceful group that came to study your planet is instead reaping
the fruits of your more warlike past and is involved directly or indirectly
in the murder of perhaps hundreds if not more, the wholesale destruction of
Federation shipping, the theft of goods being ferried across Federation
space and from the evidence gathered by members of our intelligence branch
is smuggling and selling it to parties who are intent on making war upon
the Federation. Meaning then Controller that you are either wittingly or
unwittingly complicit in hostile acts against the Federation which I
represent. If they are then removing weaponry under false pretenses I
absolve you of guilt in the matter however I also expect you to assist me
in shutting down their operation."

(Reply: Controller)

"You needn't fear the cutoff of goods to your planet. If Sigma Draconis VI
returns to a peaceful state I will personally request formal relations and
trade be established including emergency supplies should they be necessary.
You will then have eradicated a stain upon your planet and entered into
more permanent relations with my government."
