"I have come to learn that though Doctor Solice isn't normally outwardly
aggressive, once she sets her mind to something, she doesn't let it go.
Other than putting her in the brig or confining her to quarters under
guard, I would suggest you ask Luma to keep a special watch on Quinna, and
at the first sign of trouble, Luma steps in."

Sekal nodded. "A logical suggestion and one that has already been acted
upon." The Ferengi had been busy and knew a number of things that were not
general knowledge. "As we are on the subject of Luma it must be noted that
she is an emotional being and not an artificial intelligence and has issues
that have not been dealt with in her past. If you would be willing to speak
with her it would be helpful. If you are otherwise busy however....?"

"There is one other thing while you are available." The Captain reached
into a drawer of the desk and removed a small black box. When opened it
revealed a 'solid' pip. He stood to his feet as he withdrew it. "Please
step forward, Counselor."

He removed the black 'empty' pip from her collar and pinned the gold pip in
its place. "Congratulations. You are now a full ensign."

He returned to his seat. "Counselor Hammons has noted that the psyche
evaluations are going slowly. How is the project going from your end?"

He nodded. "In conclusion I can assure you that everything that can be done
to protect the good doctor is being done and as soon as she has finished
with her task on the ship her time masquerading as an operative will be at
an end. I do not approve of my medical staff taking a direct hand in
dangerous operations outside of the department. Continue to observe what is
happening from a discreet distance and if you note any issues that arise I
will expect an immediate report. Doctor Solice has the best and most
experienced help I can give her, against her wishes I might add but do not
interfere lest you upend their operation."
