(USS Illuminar - Deck 1 - CO's Ready Room - Counselor Ensign jg Reea - 0625)

"I have some questions for you, Counselor," said Sekal, "and while I will not categorically deny your conclusions, I admit to being curious as to what you know about Roanoke and how you linked that knowledge with events currently happening on the ship."

"When I first arrived here, there wasn't much counseling to do, so I spent most of my time reading personnel files, medical records, and log entries," said Reea.

"I saw references to something called Roanoke, so I looked into it, but my security clearance isn't high enough for full access. Though I don't have 100% proof, I believe Roanoke is part of Section 31. Hearing whispers among some of the crew, makes that seem more likely to me."

Reea paused a moment to study the captain, but she couldn't read him. Yet.

"Over the last few days, we were attacked, discovered advanced weapons, and someone tried to murder you. I can speculate on whether Roanoke is behind this, but that's all it would be.

"If there are spies here, rooting them out is vital, but an obviously staged public outburst may not be the best way to do it. For all we know, Weston is part of it and is playing us."

"Ms. Reea, I find your summary eminently logical and compliment you on your astute conclusions," said Sekal.

Reea couldn't help letting out a quick smile. She was glad her captain valued what she had to say.

Captain Sekal stated that he was managing the situation partly to insure Doctor Solice's safety.

"What do you suggest that would improve her chance for survival?" said Sekal.

"I have come to learn, that though Doctor Solice isn't normally outwardly aggressive, once she sets her mind to something, she doesn't let it go," said Reea. "Other than putting her in the brig or confining her to quarters under guard, I would suggest you ask Luma keep a special watch on Quinna, and at the first sign of trouble, Luma steps in."

Reea couldn't think of anything else, but she would try.
