(USS Illuminar -- CMO Office -- Deck 5 -- CMO Lt. Quinna Solice -- 2200)

Quinna left the meeting when they were dismissed.  She was the first out
the door.  She made sure she avoided everyone, especially Sienna and
T’Mur.  She wondered how much they were avoiding her as much as she was
avoiding them.  Neither one wanted to talk to her or they would have
already.  She could picture Sienna coming in when least expected with a
bottle of Spring wine.

Quinna turned to do what she needed next.

An emergency meeting for all medical staff in sickbay at 2300 hours.
Attendance Mandatory.


(USS Illuminar -- Sickbay -- Deck 5 -- CMO Lt. J.G. Quinna Solice, ME Mason
Quincy -- 2310)

Quinna sat on the medical station desk as she waited for everyone to
attend.  She looked at Mason.  If looks could kill, then she would be
dead.  She wondered what he knew or what he was thinking.

Once everyone was there, Quinna began. “Thank-you for coming.  After last
week, I have decided to make some changes to the routine. Too much has
happened.  I have put everyone else a priority.  I try to make sure you are
all taken care of.  I have not done that to myself and there I have found
myself a bed in sickbay.  I am lucky that Dr. Hezuela and Ms. Miller was
around to save my life.  Then Dr. Quincy saved it again.  As a result, I
have to step back.  I need to focus on the Administrative aspect of
Sickbay.  Until such further time, I will not be taking care of patients.
Dr. Reea, I believe that Captain Sekal has already given you orders.”

“Dr. Hezuela, I want you to be Alpha shift in Sickbay.”

Dr. Quincy will be taking Beta Shift.

“I don’t work with the living, you know that and why,”  Mason said in
protest.

“It is time you quit hiding with the dead and rejoin the living.”  Quinna
replied.

“I am not Starfleet, you cannot make me.”  Mason replied back.

“You are under my team as a member of the medical team, civilian or not.  I
need you.  If you do not want to take on a shift in sickbay.  We can send
you back to Earth and go on your Merry way.”  Quinna’s tone indicated she
was about to say more than she should but she didn’t.

Mason backed down but was determined to find out what was going on.  Quinna
was never like that.

“The EMH will be available between 2000 to 0800 hours. Your Duty Rosters
are loaded to your accounts.  Any more Questions about this?”

(Replies any)

“Our Current mission is not heavily detailed in medical, however Keep on
your Toes.  I will be available when needed.  Just call me.  Anything else.”

“Ok then, you are dismissed.”  Quinna hurried back to her office where she
locked herself in.
