NRPC:- All comments are IC only. Penny only dislikes Quincy because he teased her in sickbay. Which upset her.

Coming from a large family and being the youngest. Penny was always being teased as a child. This was why she had taken a disliking to Dr Quincy. After he had teased her in sickbay. About not letting her go unless she had diner with him. Considering she had almost died. Penny felt he had been inappropriate in his chat up line.

Mason stopped, “You know, I heard that and yes it is just you.”  Mason replied.  Slowly walking back to where the two women stood. “What is wrong with you?”  
Mason wanted to yell ‘You had an unhappy experience or something and we all are horrible men now?’ but chose not to.    

“ You once teased me that unless I had diner with ye. You would nay let me out of sickbay. Sorry Doctor if yer think that’s acceptable behaviour. To a young lassie who had just recovered from near fatal radiation poisoning.” She retorted 

“I do not need to be around your negativity.  Now if you excuse me, I need to paint my mother a flower.  Excuse my rudeness, Ms. Trei.”  Then Mason turned to McTaggard, “Hope you have a nice evening.”  Mason held his tongue so as to not say anything rude. He was hard-pressed to find the nice words.  In fact, she had intrigued him when they first met.  

Penny let him go without another word. She had been tempted to introduce his groin to her knee. But that would of meant a one way ticket off the Illuminar. So she just gave him a curt nod.


"So what is the difference between the Vulcan Orchid and the Night Orchid.  You will be the better judge than I was though I have seen many varieties of flowers on Betazed growing up.  I just liked looking and smelling flowers not knowing anything about them.  When I was growing up on Betazed and competing in cheerleading and gymnastics, the squad practiced in the fields often.   We would do tumbling exercises in the plush flowery fields .  It was a softer landing if we didn't  stick it landing on flowers was much better."

“ My cousins used to throw me in the thistles back home in Scotland. But as nay blood was shed ear twisting’s were nay given. Vulcan Orchards have a unique light blue colouring. With a green vain like pattern in the flower. The night Orchard is smaller and only grows in caves. Same colouring though but as I said smaller. Plus it’s leaves are slightly different.” Penny informed her.
