She was ready to move on to another group of flowers when she saw Science officer Penny Mc Taggerd wave at her.  She heard the greeting in a friendly Scottish accent.  She waved her over to join in the scenario.
"Come on over Penny.  You know more about flowers than I do.  You can help me judge the flowers."
