"I guess you weren't working the other night,"Jayton said to Sam.

"You'd have to be more specific as to the date.  They all blur together, 
you know," Sam said.

"Dieter and I had a date the other night, and it was absolutely magical. 
And seeing him with a little harem over there is really getting me 
down," Jaton said as Sam watched him throw the shot back.

He poured another shot for Jaton.

"That's the breaks," Sam said. "I've seen it dozens of times in dozens 
of bars I've worked in from one end of the quadrant to the other.," Sam 
said, "So you're not alone, in fact you're probably in great company. 
Let me ask you the question.  Did you ever talk about it?  What, if any, 
expectations there were?  That Lieutenant over there seems to want to be 
a playboy, playing the field.  You, my friend, need to turn your frown 
upside down.  No person is worth that much angst over."

He paused, "but if you need to get over it, I've got the solution."
