(USS Illuminar - The Prancing Pony - CSO Lieutenant (jg) Jaton Alyl - 2047)

The bartender poured two shots of some kind of alcohol that Jaton didn't
recognise, handing one to him.  "On the house, Lieutenant. It's from my
private stock," he said, raising the glass to his lips. Jaton raised his
glass as well, but didn't drink it. He sighed and put it back down.

"Now, it looks like the classic story, as told by the Earth Philosopher Sir
Roderick Stewart once wrote, 'Some guys have all the luck'," Sam said.
"Why does it matter so much to you?"

Jaton didn't take his eyes off the glass. "I guess you weren't working the
other night," he said.

"Dieter and I had a date the other night, and it was absolutely magical.
And seeing him with a little harem over there is really getting me down."
With that, Jaton downed the shot, grimacing.
