Penny had expected a big telling off and being put on extra duty. After Jaton had caught her arguing with the computer. Over her attempt to make some elephants toothpaste. Mc Taggard had to explain why she was doing a potentially messy thing.

All she was doing was acquainting herself with the equipment. Luckily she had been let off with a warning.

So here she was looking out the window at the planet Vulcan. Her pet Chihuahua the wee one. Grumpily sat on her lap.

“ Tis no need to have the sulks. Yer brought this on yer self ye wee bampot.” She told the small bugged eyed dog.

The wee one was wearing a muzzle. After he kept nipping at people’s hands. Including to Penny’s absolute horror the Captains. When they tried to stroke him. The little nipping machine had put up quite a fight. When she had tried to put it on. 

But McTaggard was a Celt born from an ancient Scottish family. Rumoured to have fought against the english back through the days. When men fought their battles with swords and axes.

A small wee beastie was not going to stop her.
