(USS Illuminar - Deck 1- Ready Room- Chief of Security Lt jg Keung Lee- 1030)


"Ensign Lee to the Ready Room."

Lee in his quarters taking a shower.  He was drying off when his combadge which was his table announced "Ensign Lee to the Ready Room."  He quickly got dressed, wondering why he was called to the Captain’s Ready Room.  Upon entering the Ready Room, Captain Sekal wave to a chair for Lee to sit down.

"Ensign Lee I have split the Tactical and Security departments and given oversight of Tactical to Ensign T'Mur. There is left the matter of the security department. Your promotion to Lieutenant junior grade has been logged with StarFleet command along with assuming full command of your department as Chief of Security." Explained the Captain

Lee was momently taken aback..maybe this was a joke then realised that Vulcans don’t normally joke.  “Lt jb Chief of Security, Sir” exclaimed Lee.  He breathed in and out slowly trying to contain his excitement as he watched Sekal took a black box from top of his desk.  Took out a single black pip and stood up.  He motioned Lee to come forward.  Sekal pinned the pip to Lee’s collar

"Congratulations are in order Lieutenant."

“Thank you sir.” Smiled Lee and saluted.
