ILLUMINARNRPG: A Reminder

The story arc is causing a little confusion so this is to make sure things
are crystal clear.

What is a story arc? A story arc is a common or recurring thread that ties
a number of missions together, it can skip a mission or two then pop back
up but is always running in the background.

The story arc is about behind the scenes maneuvering attempting to cause
instability in the Federation as Starfleet expands back into the Alpha
quadrant. It is coming from a number of sources. Roanoke is one of those
sources. Roanoke has the aim of co-opting Starfleet's mission and turning
it into a martial one such as a conquering entity rather than an
exploratory one. This makes the spy thread running on the ship a subplot
tied to the story arc rather than the main mission. A future mission will
have us moving in to crush the last vestiges of this organization.

The mission we are currently involved in is about a smuggling ring that has
discovered a cache of advanced alien weaponry and is disseminating it.
Shutting this ring down is our main goal.
