"We are about twenty minutes out and according to our preliminary scans from long ranged sensors, We might have a problem."

Looking back over Janice raised her eyebrow as the viewscreen lit up, “The doesn’t sound good”

"The facility itself seems to have a high level of radiated gas within its interior and without fully knowing the extent of this radiation, beaming in or out may be difficult due to radiation contamination of the interior surfaces of the facility. " He said and flipped the screen to another image.

"The only safe point to get a solid transporter lock on the miners would be in their airlock where the surfaces and materials used in its construction would be highly resistant to not only radiation but absorption of it. The issue is that according to their distress call they are located in a secure room about ninety meters down a corridor from their airlock. " Ethan explained and rubbed his head.

"The corridor is flooded with radiated gas from the improper venting of the facility. So…we would have to get them there , but we can't do that until the corridor is cleared of the radiated gas. "
Ethan paused and looked at them.  "So we need a plan."

“Can we fix the venting system remotely?” she suggested quickly then shook her head and pointed at the screen, “No no... looks here. The radiation has fried that all up,”

“The only way we are venting anything in there is getting hands on. We are going to have to get onboard,” she pointed to the screen, “Docking ports are going to be here and here...”

“Really? I guess the station is a bit old,” she folded her arms over a bit, “Looks like we do this the old fashioned way then. We will need to EVA over to see what we can do from the outside to bypass the radiation. How many suits do we have onboard?”
