Mission: Space was cool before it mattered
Day: 1
Stardate: 2446.04.25
(USS Exeter –Holodeck 1 – Team Two- Armory Chief, Chief Sytuk-1519)
The holodeck program loaded around them, It was an exact approximation of
main engineering. The lights were low and lit with the pulsing glow of the
red alert status. Sytuk knew that the simulation had already begun. The
doors to main engineering were shut and locked, but were moments away from
being breached. Sytuk walked over to the weapons locker number 3 and opened
it. He took out a phaser rifle and 4 power supply packs. He wasn't one for
waiting around while waiting for an order to be given. His approach in
these situations was always preemptive. Sytuk walked over to the E.S.L
panel and ripped the open, inside were several respirators fitted with
filtration units.
Arbor looked over at Lieutenant McCoy who was the leader of Team Two.
“Lieutenant, where do you want us?”Arbor asked
(Reply McCoy)
Sytuk with his phaser rifle strapped to his shoulder offered the
respirators to Ensign Arbor and Lieutenant McCoy.
" If we climb to the upper deck we can shoot the bottom of one the plasma
chambers, neutralizing our enemy while remaining clear of the effects of
having ourselves liquefied. " Sytuk said, knowing right and well this was
a simulation, but nonetheless felt the need to play along.
" We can then target the carpeted floor on the upper deck with phaser fire,
causing flames intense enough to set off the Halon system, any enemy that
isn't choked into an unconscious state will be met by the friendly blast of
a phaser. " Sytuk stated , handing off the breathing apparatuses. As sounds
of their holographic opponents breaching the security seals on the doors
grew louder.
