“I am sorry sir what did you say?”



“Just checking you are doing ok?” she smiled back sitting and swivelling a chair round to face him.



“Ow yes sir I am okay. Just sorting my self out. This is a bit different then the last rescue I was on. Especially being so junior in rank to everyone.”



“To each their own. Age and rank are only an indication of ability – they don’t tell the whole story,” she tried to put Ewan more at ease as he was looking a little tense to her, “I knew a guy years ago – a good thirty years on me. He was smart - He knew a lot of stuff... a ‘lot‘ of stuff. The problem was despite knowing the answers to questions he didn’t know why they were the answer. Sometimes that’s more important than anything else.”



“Don’t think that just cause of rank we know more than you about some things. I can guarantee you I don’t. Tell me about the last rescue?”
