EXETERRPG: (1 - 1021) CFO Lt(sg) Trinity Frost

(USS Exeter - CFO Office - CFO Lt(sg) Trinity Frost - 1021)



Trinity looked up as what seemed like the millionth distraction appeared at
her door. "Eh hem. Is now a good time?"



“Of Course Erin,” She didn’t know the CSO very well, more than a name and
passing conversations, but she’d always found the girl quite pleasant.
“Sit. Please. What can I do for you?”



Erin smiled and walked into the office. She could tell by the look on the
woman's face that she was wondering why she was there. Taking a seat
opposite, Erin smiled softly,



"I suppose you're wondering why I asked to come see you?"



“The thought had crossed my mind. How about we get straight to it. Promise
I won’t bite.” She said with a friendly smile.



"It’s a personal thing. I've been thinking about how I can expand my
knowledge and better myself. I spoke with Commander Jones earlier about
maybe taking some extra training. Just something incase it's needed and I'm
not making myself very clear am I?"



“Not precisely, but I have a feeling that I know where this might be
headed.” Trinity said genuinely. “What do you have in mind?”



"To put it bluntly, I would like to get some training on shuttle flying.
Nothing extravagant,  just as a back up. An extra feather to my bow so to
speak."

“Hmm.” Trinity sat back in thought. I see the possibilities.” It was true,
whereas Trinity was a pilot, she had a strong technical background, so she
saw the positives regarding Officers that were multiskilled. “There’d be an
understanding that this would be informal to begin with. I’ll have you
trained, but my pilots will come first on missions that numbers would
allow.”

“I’ll have a word with my staff. You don’t want me training you believe me.
Don’t worry, we’ll get you your shuttle training and rating, beyond that,”
she shrugged, “We’ll see how we all feel and how it’s working. Fair?”
