“Now…I can’t say this strenuously enough, I like your idea, but it’s as an
extension to your main duties, rather than a replacement of them, that’s
not impossible of course, but that’s a different conversation. I wasn’t
kidding about what I said before.”


Erin nodded, completely understanding the seriousness of what he had said


“Now, with that being said, I’m happy to give this my go ahead. Have your
conversations, but keep me in the loop, yes?”


"Of course, Sir. Will do."

Erin smiled softly. Despite the lunches, part of her was beginning to
wonder if he was ever going to confirm a time for the date he had asked her
on. Part of her wanted to ask but, not only was now not the right time,
the other half of her was beginning to wonder if he was having second
thoughts about the whole thing.


~if he is, I wish he would just say so.~ she thought to herself.
