(USS Exeter - FO's Office - CSO Lieutenant Erin Cortez - 0921)

As she walked up to the door, Erin allowed herself a little smile. The last
month had been great, taking lunch almost every day with Alex had made her
feel closer and she had been impressed with how they were able to keep
things separate.

Still, even though she knew this was a business meeting, her heart was
beating as she pressed the console by the door and waited.

Walking in, Erin fixed a calm look on her face but inside she was smiling.
Something about him made her feel happy and safe. Nodding a hello to him
she stood by his desk and said, "You asked to see me, Commander?"

Taking a seat, Erin allowed herself a moment to watch him. ~I still think
those eyes are going to be trouble and… part of me is wondering if he is
having second thoughts. No date yet..~ she thought to herself.
