Mission: Space Was Cool Before It Mattered

Day: 2

Stardate: 2446.04.26

(Exeter - Holosuite 7 - Sparring hologram, Gram -1049)

Noticing her emotional response. Gram couldn't help but make an inquiry.

" Are you ok Commander Merek?"

"It's a moment of emotion. It will pass." She said.

" I can self-discontinue to help expedite the passing of your emotions."
Gram informed her.

"No!" Keira said a little more urgently than she intended. "I mean...." she
paused. "....that won't be necessary."

" Very well Commander Merek. " Gram responded.

"I came here to exercise," she said. "Computer, Tlhlngan Horey'So!"

The holosuite grid was replaced with an ancient Klingon training arena.
Which isn't as formal as all that you would find on Earth or Vulcan. It was
essentially an abandoned mine hewn out of the mountain side ages ago with
mining lasers that had stopped producing ore that had found a new purpose.
Braziers stood in the four corners of the space about shoulder
height casting warm orange light and long flickering shadows everywhere.
Off to one side was a rack with all kinds of various Klingon weapons, two
of each.

"I never got to train with Ravok." Keira began. "I was wondering if instead
I could train with you?"

" It is my primary function ,Commander Merek" Gram responded.

Gram identified the bat'leth variant that Commander Merek had chosen; it
had a metal staff wrapped in leather between two blades, one with a
standard configuration, one with a sharp hook. "You said you had his logs,
and that you could approximate his personality?" She asked.

" I am capable of carrying out that function." Gram informed her.

"Do it." Keira said while picking up the weapon.

Gram picked up an identical weapon to the one chosen by Commander Merek,
Gram looked at her , Gram's eyes again flashing blue and white. When they
returned to their default color, Gram smiled at her and gave the bat'leth
variant a swift spin through his hands and around the body.

" I'll try not to hurt you." Gram said playfully, accurately mimicking the
tone and delivery of Ravok's voice.
