(USS Exeter - Main Science Lab - CSO Lieutenant Sg Erin Cortez - 1525)

“Dammit Cortez what am I missing? It’s as simple as the nose on your face,
but I can’t bloody see it…AAAARGH!”

Raising an eyebrow, Erin fought back he urge to retort and took a moment to
focus her mind on the problem at hand. As she thought through everything,
something popped into her head, a combination of what Ailynn had said and
what Parker had discovered.

"What if….?" Erin paused as the thoughts organised themselves.

"I'm no medical expert but, if this radiation waxes and wanes, couldn't
that be used somehow?"

(Reply Ailynn, Parker, De Luca)

"I mean… if there are high and low points, what if you could give small
dose of the radiation to build up some form of a defence or even it could
allow you to withstand higher doses for a longer period of time maybe?"

Erin blushed as soon as she spoke. "Sorry, like I say I am not a medical
expert…"
