(Exeter – Firing Range - COO, LT Janice Hammerfield - 1530)
Deciding to take a bit of time for herself this morning Janice propped a case up on the firing range and typed in a security code. It unlocked and she removed her rifle. “Computer – Targets extreme range” There was a beep as the computer complied. Next she removed a power cell from the case and inserted it into the rifle and turn it on. It buzzed for a moment and lit up ready to be used. She took an opened ended section of the range where she could lay down to steady her aim and prop her rifle onto a small tripod.

Her finger slowly flicked the safety off and slid down to the trigger and she took a look through the scope. ~ok... relax... deep breaths~

Lining up on one of the targets she inhaled, held her breath and let a shot whiz off. Exhaling she looked for her next target before repeating her breathing over and over on different targets are different long ranges.

After some time the rifle grip rattled after each shot to let her know the cell was running low. Flicking the safety back on she tapped a button the side letting the cell eject out slowly onto the ground in front of her. Taking it she looked over to her case and slotted it back inside as she pulled another cell out.
