Mission: Space was cool before it mattered

 

Day: 2

 

Stardate: 2446.04.26

 

 

(USS Exeter - Sickbay – Nurse – Ewan McDonald- 1215)

 

“I can do that for you, sir.” 

 

Ewan had watched the whole exchange and looked at the nurse walk awaywith the tray.

 

~I better get that back to him once he had stopped being a child~

 

LaGrande was acting like a spoilt brat and the sickbay staff were trainprofessionals who did not deserve any kind of disrespect no matter who they were.He saw LaGrande lie back on the bio-bed before he shot back up and held hishands in front of his face.

 

“Nurse! Nurse!” LaGrande cried out “Wait! Come back!”

 

Ewan was moving towards LaGrande before he had concisely recognised whathe had said. It was the fear and terror in his words that got him moving.

 

~Ow no~

 

As he stepped closer, he saw that LaGrande’s hands were covered in burns.

 

~Burns such as from radiation but yesterday there is no way it should havetaken this long to present~

 

“Its okay Mr LaGrande. Lie still, I know, I know it hurts let me getsome painkillers into you.”

 

(Reply LaGrande)

 

He could see that the burns were spreading.

 

~Ow for F&%$ sake~ 

 

He raises his voice so that the computer would recognise the urgency ashe grabbed the hypospray of strong pain killers. Injected into LaGrand’s neck andactivated the bio-beds scanner system. He needed information and help.

 

“Medical emergency in sickbay. Dr Kruze to sickbay.”

 

~Ow this is going to get nasty~
