Mission: Space was cool before it mattered

Day: 2

Stardate: 2446.04.26

(USS Tom Kazansky - Shuttle Bay 1 - SO Lieutenant T'Gema Vaxis- 0514)

"You're thinking like a Romulan." T'Rix scoffed. "That there had to be some
back room deal or shady dealing. The logical answer is simple. It's easier
to segregate the Romulans onto one ship until they know we can be trusted.
It's easier to put us in our place if we are all in the same place, then if
we are spread out far and wide. It's the only logical response when your
ancient enemy asks to join your special club."

She nodded slowly and crossed her arms.

" That's a very simple and plausible analysis, I guess you could even
say…Logical." T'Gema shrugged

"But perhaps I am the one being too Vulcan."

" No, not at all. Besides, Vulcans don't get to reserve the explicit right
to lay claim to all things logical. " She laughed slightly.

"All I want to do is serve to the best of my ability. I've sworn my oaths
to the Federation. I am 1st Lieutenant T'Rix Seyreal, Starfleet Marine.
That is what is being asked of me now." T'Rix said.

" Well my oaths to the Federation don't come with the same potential for
excitement as yours. I'm just a Lieutenant in a blue uniform who is gonna
be stuck in a science lab. If I get to see any action it's because the ship
is in serious trouble." She joked.

She glanced at the vessel next to them.

" So do you know how to fly one of these things? "

( reply T'Rix)
