" The reunificationist currently run our government. However The Pro-Consul
seems less focused on reunification and more ambitious towards the path
that leads us to joining the Federation. I don't care what they decide to
do, I am pro Rihannsu no matter what. Whatever we have to do to survive. "
T'Gema said concluding her point.

"I am pro Federation. But at this point, that is obvious. But you and I are
in weird situations. Children of two worlds, of Rihannsu and Vulcan,
Rihannsu and Earth. Of course we can see past our horizons to find what is
needed to survive. It is part of who we are."


" Did you know that The Exeter has two members of their command crew that
are children of Republic Senators ? " She asked.

"I don't keep up with politicians. I think the worship of the Senate had
led us to too many bad decisions." He sighed.

" Senator Merek and Senator Na’Rel. Both of them having children serving on
the Exeter, the very ship being used as the platform of your integration
into their marine division…" T'Gema stepped closer to T'Rix and lowered her
voice.
" I wonder who made that decision." She said coldly.

"You're thinking like a Romulan." He scoffed. "That there had to be some
back room deal or shady dealing. The logical answer is simple. It's easier
to segregate the Romulans onto one ship until they know we can be trusted.
It's easier to put us in our place if we are all in the same place, then if
we are spread out far and wide. It's the only logical response when you're
ancient enemy asks to join your special club."

"But perhaps I am the one being too Vulcan."

"All I want to do is serve to the best of my ability. I've sworn my oaths
to the Federation. I am 1st Lieutenant T'Rix Seyreal, Starfleet Marine.
That is what is being asked of me now."
