"Yes, of course," said Roger.  "They put us through surviving in every type of wilderness environment there is on Earth.  We also had a course on the moon.  It was a challenge, but I was learning new things and it made me a better, stronger person."

Roger had a good life growing up in an orphanage.  Loving, giving people took care of him.  There was always something to do and his basic needs were met, but being on his own and in Starfleet Academy, gave him the true purpose he needed.

"It's hard to say what type of assignment I prefer," said Roger.  "It's a given being on a starship is the most exciting, but since the Exeter is the only place I've been since graduation, there could be something else I'd like better."  He shrugged.

Roger was fine conversing with Arbor, but he was anxious to get to his gym workout.
