(USS Exeter - Shuttle bay - Caity Dubois - 1705)

Seeing Ash, a soft smile graced Caity’s face as the woman pulled her into a
tight hug.


“Caity, How are you sweetie? You okay? You look a little flustered.”

"I'm okay… just a little… " Caity’s face rested on Ash's shoulder as she
sighed.


“Ailynn wanted to be here, but she’s stuck in the labs, wants that out the
way so you guys can have free time later. So you’re stuck with me I’m
afraid.” Ash released Caity from the hug, and walked next to her, guiding
her toward the turbolift. “Your bags will be sent up.”

Caity nodded. Not really sure how she was actually feeling in that moment,
she entered the turbolift and stood with her back resting against the wall.
As the doors closed, she looked at Ash, "How's… the bar?"

"I… honestly, I haven't given it a lot of thought. Took me a while to sleep
at night without thinking of that place."

"Pops… he was great though. When I woke up and didn't want to disturb
Ailynn, I used to wander downstairs and, somehow he knew and was always
there with a cup of tea."
