Mission: Space was cool before it mattered

Day: 1

Stardate: 2446.04.25

(Mining Station - CFO Lt(sg) Trinity Frost - 1525)

Trinity had moved out from the dropoff point, and moved the ship round the
station, flying it between the superstructure of the station itself, and
the enormous buttressed stanchions that formed part of the docking
facilities for the larger craft that docked here. The charon wasn’t exactly
the ighly adapted peregrine that she would have chosen to fly in this kind
of mission, being far longer, and wider at the stern, but she was highly
nimble, and a joy to throw into the tight turns. It made for some
interesting flying, considering the interactions between charged nebulonic
winds, the station’s shield, and the station itself, which seemed to
created it’s own downdraft due to the nebula dust that was directed toward
the giant collectors at the base of the station. It was a hell of of an
environment even for one of her skill. For that reason, she had elected to
remain outside the downdraft, and then come in hot when she was needed.

=/\=Miller to Cheron=/\=

“Charon. All good Lieutenant?”

=/\=We're waiting for you. One thing though the days are only half way
open so your gonna have to pull off some of that magic Trin.=/\=

“On it.” She tapped a quick few commands, and swung the manual stick to the
left, banking the Charon. “Coming in hot, I don’t have much clearance on
any approach. I’ll need to hold it on manual. So you wont have much time,
the conditions are kind of interesting within the stations protective
shield.”

=/\= Be car.." Ethan stopped and corrected himself. " Do your thing =/\=

“Doing my thing baby. Doing my thing. Charon out.” she punched the boost,
and dipped the stick swooping and twisting between a heavy I beam and the
superstructure itself. Coming close to the maintenance hatch that was the
rendez-vous, Trinity snatched the stick sharply, and using a manual control
of the thrusters, span the back of the craft around, lining the hatch on
her own craft with the hatch on the Station.

“Where too guv?” She said whimsically, she was having far too much fun. “I
don’t go south of the River this time of night.”

(Reply Ewan/any on station)

“This is taking about a bajillion manual adjustments a second to keep lined
up, so I suggest you get your pretty little arses out of there and onto the
Charon.”

(Reply any on station.)
