(USS Exeter – Deck 8 Armoury - ACEO Lieutenant Janice Hammerfield / Ensign Wilder – 0550)



Raising him hands quickly Wilder backed off a bit, “OK OK!... just settle down.”



Janice couldn’t hear a thing over her ears still ringing out. Looking at him puzzles she kept the rifle trained on him not being able to tell what was an appropriate level to talk shouted, “Are you with them?”



“What... no,” he replied backing up a bit more,



“What? Speak up. I cant hear you!” Janice shouted back.



“I’m not,” he said shaking his head back and fourth, “The power went out... and there was smoke... We need weapons.”



Looking at him closely she noted that he had his com badge removed – literally everything except the clothes on his back. Weary she couldn’t tell. Out of the corner of her eye she seen someone else squeeze through the crack she hand made in the door. Her rifle darted between Wilder and whomever was sliding in.
