(USS Exeter – Deck 5, corridor - CSO Lt Erin Cortez – 0458)


“A few doors down, and twenty or thirty minutes.”



"Excellent, I can use that time to try and get in touch with Ailynn. Or at
least set it up that i can from anywhere."




“Right here.” As Keira stepped up to the indicated door it opened to reveal
a small two person spartan quarters usually given to junior enlisted.
“Welcome to the Dog House.”




"Cosy…" Erin replied with a smile as she took a seat at the table, pulled
out her padd and closed her eyes for a brief second.





“Computer, lock the door.”



[Affirmative]


As she began typing, Erin’s mind wandered. She knew the rage that she had
felt earlier. She knew it because she knew whose it was. It was in that
singular moment she also knew how to make sure that Ailynn was in fact in
control of herself.


She would confess. Confess to something that she had told no-one. No-one
ever. And it scared her but she also knew that, if she was to grow and
become who she wanted to be, she had to.
