(USS Exeter –Broken Bow – COO LTjg Paul Sleeford 04:40)
“Yes we can do it but it dose depend on what we find when we get there.”
Paul looked through the screen in front of him.
“Well yes that’s the problem is it just one person again, or has something or someone taken the entire crew.”
“Hopefully it’s just one individual rather then somethings happened to the whole crew.”
Paul placed cupped his chin with his hand tapping his nose gently with his forefinger while he thought.
“The Bridge, Engineering and Security deck would be my choices to control, you have navigation, environmental controls, the core and the armoury. Total control”
Paul fell silent as Ire began tapping at the console, a series of bleeps had him looking up
“It looks like we can go at low warp. I don’t want to over stress the engines.”
“ Low warp is okay. Takes longer “
"Look at it this way. We will either make it back or experience a cataclysmic warp core collapse. Either way is better than sitting here doing nothing "
He gave a slight smile as his fingers hovered over the warp engine icon.
“Shall we?”
“Do it, just get us on board, I’ll get us to the armoury”
Sitting back as the small ship launched into FTL flight and the stars streaked passed, in his heart he hoped the problems they’d had where just poor maintenance due to overworked crew and not a hostile act of sabotage, the later coming after Shore leave on Risa and Qs trials along with Maxine going rouge a couple of months back, would be the culmination of a series of disasters that had seemed to haunt the Exeter. Turning to Ire, Paul laughed.
“Home James and don’t spare the horse’s”
