" It doesn't make a difference you know." Ravok said to Ronnie as they
walked. His eyes surveying the landscape.

"What doesn't make a difference?" Ronnie asked.

" About your parents. Most of us already considered you like family
anyways. Like a younger sister. You came along and fit right in. If anyone
is gonna treat you any different because of it then they can kiss your ass
and keep it moving. You're Lieutenant Ronnie Winters. That's something to
be proud of and that's all I'm going to say about it. Life is too
short..... "

"Sir, can we not please." Ronnie said with a sigh. "I know you mean well.
But I really don't want to talk about this right now. We're one a mission,
lets focus on that please."
