EXETERRPG: (1-0454) ACEO Lieutenant Janice Hammerfield

(USS Exeter – Main Engineering - ACEO Lieutenant Janice Hammerfield – 0454)

Janice jumped up a bit as the hatch below her opened. She hadn’t attempted it knowing it was locked form the underneath.

"Janice," he said his posh Oxford accent. "Quickly, down into the tunnels, we got to go while we still can."

She looked at Alistair and then back to Rylee just out of reach on them. She looked for a way to try and get through it quickly.

"I'm sorry Ensign," the man sighed, “But there is no latch underneath your feet, you're trapped and I can't get to you."

"It's okay, take her and go. " She replied softly.

"Seriously Janice, we've got to get the hell out of here."

"I cant just leave you here she protested,”

Rylee looked back at Janice and smiled, "listen to the man. Go, you can do more out there than trapped in here with me. Go."

"Dammit...” Janice climbed half into the hole tossing her combadge onto the floor., “Take care kid,”

"He won't harm me. Mainly because he knows I would kick his ass." She winked, "Now Go. Quick. I'll be okay."

 Dropping down she pulled the hatch over while looking menacingly at Zot with that ‘Ill be back’ look.

Quickly Janice pulled the hatch shut and used the torch to seal it to prevent them following them once the force field went down. “You’re a sigh for sore eyes. You ok?”

“Glad you ok. Do you know if anyone else is still kicking about that can help?” she asked crawling along.

Grimacing a little she added more, “Zot said they were holding the crew on deck eight and seventeen. Our priority should be staying hidden – sabotaging what we can - getting weapons – freeing the crew.” Getting to a clearing she stood up and checked the tubes leading in all directions to make sure they were clear – they were. “I think I managed to start the sensors restoring from the broken backups that will hopefully slow them down in tracking us. If no one noticed they should be flickering off anytime in the next few minutes. I’m open to any suggestions you might have to proceed.”
