(USS Exeter - Deck 8 – ACMO, Ensign Dural Methor DrPH – 0358)

After closing the channel, and stopping the Reman’s bleeding, Dural went back to each patient he had checking and rechecking their statuses. Out of old habits he picked up from the Cardassian military, he began calling the vital signs of each one as he passed.

“Ensign Moore, 105 over 64 millimeters mercury, heart rate 82 beats per minute, respirations 12 per minute, end tidal CO2 6%....” Dural droned on.

" Dr. Methor , You seem to have dropped this.." someone called out that Dural did not recognize his voice. Which meant, he hadn’t met them yet.

“Why thank….this isn’t my piece of…” he looked up at the figure just in time to see the orange beam lance out from the phaser and be struck in the center of his chest. He crumpled to the ground like a sack of Bajoran tubers.
