(Toronto, Canada - Metro Toronto Convention Centre - CSO Lt Erin
Cortez/Genevieve Rhodes - 1027)



As Erin sat in a daze, she felt a tap on her shoulder. "I'm going to go get
the car, I'll be back."



Erin turned, saw Ravok and nodded. "I'll wait right here then."



There was something about this life she had found herself in. Something
that drew her in. She knew it wasn't her life but it felt right. Felt like
it should be. Closing her eyes for a moment, Erin sighed heavily. ~this is
how I always wanted to feel. Accepted, free and loved.~



As she took a deep breath, a voice she hadn’t heard in a while and never
thought she was going to hear again came into her ears.



"Genevive Rhodes as I live and breathe." He said with a smile.



Looking up, Erin saw the face of her dead lover and froze. Her mind went
through a multitude of emotions and images flashed through her mind. The
moment in the turbo lift as they got closer to each other. Seeing him lying
next to her and then the moment she heard he was dead. Her mouth opened but
no words came out.



"I didn't know that Galaxy of Heroes had you booked for a panel or a
signing. How's it going?"



“It’s…. You’re dead. You can’t be here.”



(Reply Christopher)



She could hear him talking but the words were not connecting with any
logical part of her brain. She closed her eyes as the room began to swim
around her. “I… I can’t deal with this right now…. This is too much.”



(reply Christopher)



Erin stood from where she was sat and she knew that something wasn’t right.
Taking a deep breath, she fought to keep herself upright but she knew that
wasn’t going to happen. Opening her eyes, she realised that the room she
was in was getting foggy, “I…. don’t feel so good.”



(Reply Christopher)



“I….” no more words, no more feelings came as the room swirled and then
blackness as she felt herself pass out.
