“The next question is when”

Katie laughed as she brushed the tears away.
"The sooner the better."

“Then there’s our families, my sister would never forgive me for not
inviting her or my mother. I just wish dad was still with us”

"Can you see my family if I didn't invite them?"
Visions of angry klingons ran through her mind.

Her thoughts flowed back to the last time she'd seen her father and
brothers. They might be Klingon but she was as much a Klingon as they were,
in their minds and in the minds of those who knew her.

"I hope you don't mind Klingons crashing the wedding." she said with a
laugh.

She nodded when he said he needed to talk to the Captain.

"Yes we  do."
