Seeing the smile light up Katie's face, Sleeford resisted the urge to reach
out for the screen and touch it.


She shook her head. "Better now. How have you been?"

=/\=The captain has a five day archeology conference on Risa at the end of
the month, we’ve been granted a week R&R, I’ll miss Christmas but get new
year’s in. Will you have free time?=/\=

. "Yes I will. I have missed you."


"I've missed you too. So much has happened, since you left"


. "You'll have to fill me in on what's been going on.Over dinner?"

Smiling Sleeford nodded once, "In the best restaurant Risa has to offer

Sleeford would be glad to see Katie again, it had been too long apart, he
knew that was the danger for Starfleet couples, others had managed over the
years, it would be nice to have someone else to talk to abut things other
then the ship."

“The next month is going to feel like forever. I can’t wait to see you.”

Laughing slightly Sleeford raised his hand and touched her face on the
screen, "I cant either. It will soon pass, I'll be there in no time. It
will be nice to feel solid ground beneath my feet again"
