Stan thought about going over to Vesper. But he was here to visit Erin. Plus More did not feel he could face him. Just yet.

Erin nodded, "Certainly is. Thank you for the flowers, Stan. No need but thank you. Once you know if you are joining my team, come find me."

“ Yes I will lassie and ye take care now.” Stan replied 

"Listen, let's make a pact. No more mention of the holodeck incident. No guilt or blame on either of us. Fresh start. Right?"

“ Agreed.” Stan said

"Good man. Now go have fun with my climbing plant project. " She replied with a wink.

“ Och I will.” Stan said he gave her a friendly wave then left sickbay.

Stan lay on his back with a blade of grass poking out his mouth as he thought.

At first he had thought the problem Erin had with growing her Lapageria. May of been down to the Exeter’s gravity. He had thought of reducing the gravity in the Arboretum. But he stopped himself.

~ Consequences. Have ye learned nothing yer bampot. You need permission from the CEO and a command officer. Yer can’t just fiddle with a key system without permission. Plus engineering have enough on their plate. Without yer giving them an extra helping of what’s that crazy Scot down now! Nay and anyway now I come ta think about it. Gravity may not be the key here. It’s called the national flower of Chile. ~ he thought

Stan had the computer download all the information they had. On the Chilean climate and its soil. His eyes widened as he read through the info.

“ PORRIDGE FOR BREAKFAST!!! That’s it!!” Stan had just it figured out. He apologised to a couple of crewmen his outburst had startled.

The problem was not the gravity on the ship. It was the soil! The plant needed certain nutrients that only came from the Chilean soil. More hoped they could be replicated. He checked the PADD. Yes they could. Plus they were perfectly harmless so he did not need to speak to Sickbay first.
