 (USSExeter – Brig – Isolation Cell – CFO – Lieutenant – Ire Williams –1641)

Ire slowly opened his eyes and looked up atthe grey bulkhead above him. He slowly looked around taking in the rest of his celland the security guard at the console beyond. 

“Well, this is fun.”

He moved into a sitting position as the securityguard looked up from his console.

“How long am I going to be in here?”

“You will be here for 21days on the Captain’sorders.”

He nodded, lay back down on the bed andlooked back at the celling. His mind ran over the last twenty-four hours.

Deep in the darkness of his despair therewas a flicker of something he was not sure what it was joy, happiness, anger,or acceptance but at least there was something that was not just soul crushingnumbness.

He rolled over and closed his eyes.
