Stan was slowly beginning to feel better. In more ways then one.

 “You did annoy me earlier, regardless of my personal feelings toward or for someone, medical ethics require that I aid those in need as I am doing, but don’t worry about that now,” Dural said. “You concentrate on healing and resting. I will take you up on that offer for a drink, but insist it’s only after you are back on duty. Fair?”
 
“ Aye Doctor.” Stan said give him a wink.

More laid back and looked around. He heard Bracken and Methor speaking. But his attention was turned towards were Erin lay. Brackens voice brought Stan out of his thoughts.

“Excellent. Now….” she paused briefly for thought and then picked up one of Stan’s hands, holding the palm in her left hand, then carefully examined the extremities of the fingers. THe contrast of his large, warm hands against her cool, delicate, though strong fingers. “No sign of circulatory loss, or cyanosis.” She pinched his fingertips. “Feel that?”
 
“ Aye ma’am.” Stan replied helpfully.
 
“Good. Computer, give me a neurological scan. Display when ready.”
 
[acknowledged]
 
A few seconds later the holodisplay changed to an exceptionally intricate display of the neurotransmitters in Stan’s arm and neck. Ailynn carefully manouvered the image, zooming in to the neural pathways, running her trained eyes over the scan. “I don’t see any damage, looks like you just gave yourself a hell of a kicking...However…”
 
“ Oh? “ he asked.
 
“Couple of mineral deficiencies, nothing major. Dural, can you give him a mineral shot? Na, K and Ca. Top up the B12 too if you’d be so kind.”

“ Will I still be able to play the piano?” Stan joked
